The Law Office of Michael Horowitz prevailed in fighting against a personal protective order. Attorney Horowitz attacked the protective order on several levels: he argued that the protective order was not legally justified, he attacked the veracity of the allegations, and he argued that the issuance of the order would not accomplice anything. After a three-hour hearing in which both parties called multiple witnesses, a judge found that the other party had failed to meet its burden of proof.
This was a really important victory for client, as a protective order could have had substantial collateral consequences.
